What is the Salary of ASRB assistant?

The candidate selected via this open competition is going to be placed for pay scale of Rs. 4600 if selected for HQ in Delhi or Rs. 4200 for all rest institutional centers. 
You can expect in hand salary of ASRB assistant be around Rs. 32,000 per month.


Anyone can eligible for this post who have a Graduation Degree from a recognized university. 
No minimum Percentage required for ASRB assistant exam.

Syllabus for ASRB Mains Exam 

एएसआरबी मेन्स परीक्षा के लिए पाठ्यक्रम

This exam is of Descriptive and conventional type. for 3 hours duration for a total of 200 marks Covering the following topics. 
  1. English Language and Comprehension 
  2. Essay and Paragraphs
  3. Quantitative analysis and General Mental Ability including basic Arithmetic
  4. General Knowledge 

ASRB Assistant Main Exam (Descriptive Type) : 

Max Marks : 200   
Time : 3 Hours 

(Main Examination will be taken only by candidates qualifying the Preliminary


 SECTION - A  50 marks

 Essay / Paragraphs - Questions on short essay, precise, letter writing etc.

 SECTION - B   50 marks 

 English Language & compression - Questions on paragraph writing / report writing etc.

 SECTION - C  50 marks

 General Knowledge - Questions in this paper will include General Awareness as well as General Intelligence and reasoning ability.  Include question of both – verbal non-verbal type. Include questions relating to India and its
neighboring countries. 

 SECTION - D   50 marks
 Quantitative Analysis and General Mental ability including Basic Arithmetic. - This paper will include questions on problems relating to number system, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, interest, profit and loss, discount use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time etc.

For ASRB Assistant Mains Exam

1. The candidate must bring the printout of admission certificate in the Examination Room/Hall to secure admission. Entry in the examination without Admit Card is not permitted. The candidate must necessarily also carry/bring a PhotoID like Driving License, VoterID Card or Aadhar Card or College ID Card, in addition, if required to prove identity.

2. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the Examination Room after half an hour of the commencement of the paper.

3. The candidate should bring his/her own Black/Blue Ballpoint pen. The candidate should not bring any other articles such as books, notes, loose sheet(s), pager, mobile, Bluetooth device and other electronic communication devices etc. into the Examination Room/Hall.

There is no arrangement for safekeeping these at the venue. The candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination premises with the mobile phone, books, etc.

4. No candidate shall copy from the Answer Sheet of any other candidate, nor permit his/her own Answer Sheet to be copied nor give, nor attempt to give, nor obtain, nor attempt to obtain irregular or unfair assistance/resort to unfair practice of any description.

5. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Examination Hall until the completion of the examination. Before leaving the Examination Hall, the candidate must ensure that Answer Sheet has been handed over to the Invigilator on duty. 

They should not, under any circumstances take away the same with him/her, which shall amount to use of unfair means and will be declared failed besides inviting further necessary action by the ASRB as deemed fit, including debarring from appearing at any other or all the Examinations being conducted by the ASRB.

6. After finishing the examination, the candidate shall continue to be seated on his/her seat and patiently wait until his/her Answer Sheet is collected. HE/SHE SHALL NOT WRITE ANSWER AFTER THE EXPIRY OF THE ALLOTTED TIME.

7. Silence must be observed in the Examination Hall/Room. Smoking in the Examination Room is strictly prohibited.

8. The candidate must write his/her Roll Number and Medium of writing (English/Hindi) in the space provided for the purpose on the Answer Sheet and also the other information as required therein.

Entire test must be taken in one language only, either in English or in Hindi. The decision of the Supervisor as to whether the time as indicated above for admission to or leaving the Examination Hall, is over or not and regarding expiry of the allotted time, shall be final.

9. No request for change of the center/venue of the examination shall be entertained under any circumstances.

10. Answers to all questions are to be given in the Answer Sheet.

11. The Assistant (DR) Main Examination Paper is of Two Hundred (200) marks descriptive type questions containing four (4) Sections ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ of fifty (50) marks each.

12. This Admission Certificate is being issued purely on a provisional basis and the final result would be declared based upon the ASRB being satisfied with the Qualifications, etc.

13. The candidate is required to quote the Roll Number, Name and Year of the Examination and Center of Examination in all future correspondence with ARSB.

14. Travelling and other expenses shall be borne by the candidates themselves. The Board does not make arrangements for boarding and lodging of the candidates.
