Reviving Urban India-Smart City Hub - Affordable Housing, Citizen Services, Public Safety, Youth leadership Programs

E-governance and citizen services, waste management, urban mobility, water management, energy management form the core principles of the smart city hub plan.

It will become manicured green with a walkways.

E-governance will be a key focus area.

Here govt offices will be a part of smart city hub and the E-governance command center.

All approval done by union urban development ministry.

The location has a huge potential for development as a mixed use hub due to its proximity to major transport linkages of strong transport network of buses and the metro and also close to river front. The proximity to the riverfront is seen as an additional long-term advantage. The riverfront development will add to the potential of the hub.

Reviving urban India

Smart city mission
Objective : to promote cities that provides core infrastructure clean and sustainable environment
Target : create 100 smart cities to enhance quality and performance of urban services
Realization : states to submit proposals for smart city selection by the end of August.

Heritage city development and augmentation yojana (HRIDAY)
Objective : preserve and rejuvenate the cultural heritage of India
Target : Rs. 500 crore project for 13 cities to boost tourism and infrastructure.
Realization : money allocated to selected cities.

Atal mission for rejuvenation and urban transformation (AMRUT)
Objective : to provide basic services including water supply, sewage, urban transport to households in cities.
Target : develop 500 cities and towns with a population of 100000 and above.
Realization : the cities have been selected. Rs 120 crore allocated to 482 cities.
