How to Study for IBPS Clerk Exam?

Preparation Tips for IBPS Clerk Mains

You have 15 days left for IBPS Clerk Mains. The best strategy will utilize these 15 days with 100% efficiency. This means studying atleast 8-10 hours a day.
Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English sections require daily practice. Divide 5-6 hours equally between them. i.e. 2 hours each for the BIG 3.
Now you have GA and CK left. Devote 30-40 mins to CK and 1.5 hours to GA.
Prepare the following topics from each section:
Data Sufficiency
Sitting Arrangement
Coded Inequalities
Quantitative Aptitude
Number Series
Data Interpretation(Pie-Chart, Table)
Arithmetic (Profit Loss, Time & work, Percentage, Age, etc)
Reading Comprehensions
Cloze test
Error Spotting
Fill in the blanks
Computer Knowledge: No exact topics. Read about history of computers, languages and important people in computers. Do a lot of practice. Solve as many questions as you can.
General Awareness:
Current Affairs
Banking Awareness
Static GA

Make it a habit to solve 30-40 questions from each section everyday.
While you are solving the above set of questions. Do not worry about time limit. Instead focus on getting the concepts right.
The whole idea of solving questions is to improve your conceptual knowledge and increase your accuracy.
Only after your concepts are crystal clear and accuracy 90%+, think about the shortest way to solve particular kind of questions.
For GA preparation read newspapers daily. Try and cover news from last 3 months. This would be sufficient to cover current affairs and banking awareness. Do not worry about static.

Starting from the third day, give one full length mock daily(200 marks, 2 hours duration). This will help you to constantly monitor your performance and see the improvements. It will also help you identify chinks in your Armour. Like, are you taking too much time to solve DI, or you get confused while solving puzzles of Reasoning.
Mocks also help you improve upon your accuracy and validates your preparation filling you up with the much needed confidence.

Exercise for 30 mins daily. You can use 7 Minute Workout App to do exercise.
After every 45 minutes of your study, take a 5 minute break. Do not watch TV or do something which distracts you. Just stand up, walk, eat something and get back to studying. There is no time to waste. But yes resting is important too.
Get 7-8 hours of sleep daily. It will help you improve memory retention and also keep you fresh and brimming with energy.
Do not talk to people who have negative thoughts. Meditate, do your prayers or listen to peaceful music in your free time.
